At some point in our lives, all of us will be faced with planning a memorial service for a loved one. At a time of bereavement in families, it is our goal to support the process of grieving and to help family members find closure with a meaningful ritual.

The memorial service itself will have two goals which are to celebrate and give thanks for the life of the deceased person; and to place their life and death in the context of a deeper spiritual truth. Music has a special role to play at the memorial service because it can evoke deep emotion and spiritual insight in ways that the spoken word cannot articulate.
