Harmony Spiritual Life Center

Tribute to
Rev. Donna Jeanne Guerra

On August 7, 2009 our beloved Rev. DJ (as she was fondly known) made her transition and returned to the spirit world; she returned home to God.  But she left a legacy that was the culmination of 20 years of leading Harmony Metaphysical Church.

Rev. DJ lived to her ideal, spoke her truth and followed orders from God without hesitation.  She was not afraid to use her wisdom, her knowledge, and her spiritual gifts to reach bold conclusions, to support what she knew was right, and pray about what she knew was the illusion; the appearance of wrongdoings.

Confident and sure of her abilities, she was determined to make the most of her life; by being of service to those God put into her experience as she walked her own path as a metaphysician and pastor of Harmony.  Maintaining her integrity was her highest priority, and she was tested many times to see if she would maintain a true course.  No matter what was thrown in her path she would say, "It's DRO-Divine Right Order."

She used to laugh as she would tell us that her minister's robe was not a magical shield, and that she is going through her "stuff," her lessons, the same as we are.  She insisted she was only the "innkeeper" of Harmony Church and Spiritual Life Center.  Under her guidance, Harmony has come to be known as a way station for light-workers, a place where we teach the teachers.

Rev. DJ would say, "I'm just like the Motel 6 commercial; my job is to keep the light on for the teachers and the healers that show up here."  And that she did.

I was honored and blessed to have been a student of Rev. DJ; she supported my efforts with her advice and assistance, and I was able to accomplish many of my spiritual endeavors.  She prepared me for the path that I am now honored to walk.

She told me to not forget who my "Boss" is and to remember that "God is in charge."  I won't forget that Rev. DJ.

The Harmony family is profoundly glad that she lived, and we are blessed to have felt the glow of her leadership, friendship, and love.  We carry the memory of her within our hearts, as we move forward to do God's work here at Harmony.  As we do His work, her vision for Harmony will come to fruition.

Let us honor the memory of Rev. Donna Jeanne Guerra by "walking our talk" and loving unconditionally in the days ahead.

Until we meet again my friend,

Rev. Sheila
